Terni, Erasmus project for Marconi students: 'Experience of high educational value for the development of digital and language skills'
At the end of the course, a dissemination event was held in the auditorium of the institute

A project that began in June last year, initially involving some teachers from the Marconi school in Terni as well as Portuguese and Lithuanian colleagues. The subsequent trip to Porto allowed five students to live a short experience abroad. Finally, the concluding initiative in Kaunas was attended by head teacher Vilma Toni. The auditorium of the Marconi school hosted the first dissemination event of the Erasmus D.A.R.W.I.N. project.

The teachers involved, i.e. Simona Tagliaccica, Paola Bassetti, Roberta Bartolocci and Paola Maccaglia, illustrated to a packed auditorium the significance and main stages of the project activities. Pupils and teachers from the Terni school had as partners a Portuguese parents' association, a Lithuanian school, the social cooperative 'P. Canonica' from Viterbo and a team of psychologists from the University of Kaunas. The Marconi pupils produced multimedia products for educational and didactic purposes on the topics of online safety and carried out activities on leadership development and teamwork.

The pupils had the opportunity to meet their Portuguese and Lithuanian colleagues in Porto, where they were welcomed by the parents' association, the pupils and all the staff of the 'Escola basica e secundaria Dr Vieira de Carvalho'. During that week, they carried out activities focusing on leadership and relationship management. The experience was of high educational value both for the acquisition and development of digital and language skills, and for field testing the social, relational, entrepreneurial and civic skills possessed by the students.
